ROBERTO LUCA
President, Executive Producer and Producer is a graduate in account management. He has a solid mastery of financial investment and of television broadcast management and production. In addition to his Quebec government position, Mr. Luca served as controller and chief executive finance officer at Télé Québec. Several important Quebec production companies have called upon him to serve as an expert consultant. A thoroughgoing administrator, Roberto Luca always comes up with original solutions that facilitate the production process while never neglecting the context of budgetary constraints that are the challenge of the creative process.
JEAN LECLERC
Vice President, Creative, has been a producer and idea man for television since the early 1980s. His credits include commercials and television shows that have earned him prestigious awards both in Canada and abroad. As a filmmaker, his most prestigious recognition is for shooting Jeunesse Ad Lib, the program that closed the International Year of Youth. This won him the Silver Hugo Award at the Chicago Festival of Film and Television; earned him a finalist award in the New York Film Festival; and he was winner of the Gémeau Award for best photography. (The show was also nominated for directing, production and editing.) Since 1992, every television series he has produced in Canada was successfully distributed internationally, including Mad for Ads, which has been sold to over 75 countries and The Greatest Journeys on Earth, now sold to more than 60 countries, including in the United States, France and England. As a team person, Jean Leclerc brings together his experience as a scriptwriter and as an editor to achieve precision control with the sensitivity required when working on location or in the studio.
